| Chaplain's Message
Welcome back folks! We are in the swim for another year. We find ourselves in challenging times, economically and otherwise and yet we still have much to be grateful for. The relationships with the people in our lives give us reason to smile, reason to reach out, to give and to forgive, to draw close to us all that is precious... May this year be a good one as we move through our days with an attitude of gratitude for all we can give, share and receive thanks to the people in our lives.
Dominican Republic Mission Trip
Dominican Republic Mission Trip. We have been approved for another mission trip. We are off again to the Dominican Republic to work at the NPH orphanage, and learn from the gracious people of the local communities north of San Pedro de Macoris. We have room for 18 students and are in the process of interviewing 11 at this point. We are looking for seven more people to go with us. If anyone else is interested in going along for this truly wonderful mission, please don't hesitate to contact Peter or Joy King at SHHS.
