Welcome to Crusader Productions! Every year, the students at “The Heart”, facilitated by a team of dedicated staff members, produce and perform in two major productions.

The fall term features an original Cabaret production which serves as a vehicle by which the students can showcase their multi-faceted talents including script writing, acting, singing, dancing, instrumentals and technical production. Following the long May weekend, the school mounts a major spring production each year ranging from musicals, to Shakespearean plays to this year’s comic murder mystery play – “Done to Death” on May 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2009. Students are not only involved in the acting, but also help to produce and design the show, manage crews and learn the process of theatre production by serving on crews such as lighting, sound, costumes, make up, sets, props and advertising.

The theatre motto at “The Heart” best describes the enthusiasm, creativity, respect and dedication which the students bring to each production ... We are the finest professionals in amateur theater.

Auditions for the Cabaret production are usually held in early October and for the spring production in January or February. You are welcome to become an active member of the play production course or you can join the team as an extra–curricular participant. Either way, we guarantee you will have fun.
