Welcome to Crusader Productions! Every year, the students at “The Heart”, facilitated by a team of dedicated staff members, produce and perform in two major productions.
The fall term features an original Cabaret production which serves as a vehicle by which the students can showcase their multi-faceted talents including script writing, acting, singing, dancing, instrumentals and technical production. Following the long May weekend, the school mounts a major spring production each year ranging from musicals, to Shakespearean plays to this year’s modern drama "FAME", which runs May 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2010. Students are not only involved in the acting portion, but also help to produce, manage, design the show and learn the process of theatre production by serving on crews such as lighting, sound, costumes, make up, sets, props, publicity and fundraising.
The theatre motto at “The Heart” best describes the enthusiasm, creativity, respect and dedication which the students bring to each production ... We are the finest professionals in amateur theater.
Auditions for the Cabaret production are usually held in early October and for the spring production in late January or early February. You are welcome to become an active member of the play production course or you can join the team as extra–curricular . Either way, we guarantee you will have fun.
