2009 Remembrance Day Contest Results
The English department held its own contest in order to select entries for the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Contest. Unfortunatley we did not
receive entries for the Intermediate category. Here are the winners of the Senior categories.
Senior Poetry
1st place - Kyle Scheuerman
2nd place - Emily Holmes
3rd place - Aven Hoffarth
Senior Essay
1st place - Sarah Johnson
2nd place - Justin Reinhart
3rd place - Heather Kelly
The entries have been forwarded to the Royal Canadian Legion for judging. Good luck students. Thank you to all who participated.

Poetry Division
At the Senior Level of the competition, Sarah Johnson has won the following levels ... School, Branch, Zone, Region and is now moving on to the Provincial finals.

Essay Division
Sacred Heart's Sarah Johnson captured 1st prize for Sr. Essay at school, branch levels and was 3rd at the Zone level.

Justin Reinhart captured 1st prize in the Junior level at the school and branch levels and 3rd at the Zone level.

Posters Division

We are very proud of all out students accomplishments, especially those who took the extra time to make us stop and remember.
